Crossing the Rock is perched right on the coastline in a quaint fishing village called Santa Maria La Scala. Stepping out of the villa is like going back in time to the 1930’s. Take a stroll in the morning and you will find a group of locals gathered in the small piazza chattering about what the day ahead holds.
A couple of fish restaurants, a bakery and a pizzeria make up the village which has been frozen in time.
Zoom out and you’ll see that we are between Catania and Taormina with Mount Etna behind us.
